The Role
This is a sub-contractor role with future opportunity of permanency at Carrera Construct. Hours will be predominantly Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays, as required. Whilst our primary location is based in a western suburb of Adelaide, this position will be based on site at various locations within metro and country areas depending on where our work sites are.
About you• Self-motivated and switched on
• Honest, reliable and committed
• Demonstrate leadership
• Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Physically fit
• Able to use hand tools
What you’ll do
• Manual Demolition
• Site Cleaning
• Collecting materials
• General Labouring
• Assisting Carpentry staff or have the ability to perform carpentry duties
Who were looking for
• Experience in the building industry (min 2 years)
• Committed to a safe work environment
• Construction Industry White Card or be willing to obtain prior to employment
• Current South Australian Drivers Licence

What you’ll do
• Manual Demolition
• Fabrication for retail spaces
• Structural fabrication
• Perform welding techniques including, but not limited to, MIG, TIG & ARC
Who were looking for
• Experience in the building industry (3-4 years)
• Qualified Boilermaker
• Able to interpret and work from drawings
• Committed to a safe work environment
• Construction Industry White Card or be willing to obtain prior to employment
• Current South Australian Drivers Licence
